Overview
One vs Two keeps your game on your device. The developer operates no backend that receives your data and runs no analytics. Your statistics, credits, and round replays are stored locally and never uploaded to the developer.
The app shows advertising through one third-party SDK — Google AdMob — configured to serve non-personalized ads only. The sections below describe exactly what that means.
Data the developer collects
None.
The app sends nothing to any server operated by the developer. Specifically, One vs Two does not collect:
- Personal information (name, email, phone number)
- Precise location data
- Usage analytics for the developer
- Health, financial, or contact data
- Microphone, camera, or photo library data
Your statistics, credit balance, and round replays live only on your device. Deleting the app deletes them.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
Games against the computer show an occasional interstitial ad (at most one per six completed rounds), served by Google AdMob. Online games, replays, and menus never show ads. A one-time in-app purchase removes all ads permanently.
Ads are configured as non-personalized on every request. The app never shows Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt and does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA) to profile you.
To serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google receives standard request data from your device, including your IP address (which implies an approximate, city-level location), device model and OS version, and basic ad-interaction and diagnostic data. This processing is described in Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and other regions that require it, the app shows a consent message (Google's User Messaging Platform) before ads are loaded. You can decline; the game is fully playable either way.
Game Center
Signing in to Game Center is required for online multiplayer and leaderboards, and optional for everything else — games against the computer, replays, and statistics all work signed out.
When you play online, other players at your table see your Game Center display name. Leaderboard scores are stored by Apple under your Apple ID. The developer never sees your Apple ID, real name, or email.
In-app purchase
The only purchase is "Remove Ads" — a one-time, non-consumable purchase processed entirely by Apple. The developer never sees your payment details. You can restore the purchase on any device signed in to the same Apple ID via Settings → Remove Ads → Restore Purchases.
Credits — the in-game points that gate online play — cannot be purchased. They are only won or lost by playing.
Network access
The app's network traffic consists of: Apple's services (Game Center matchmaking, leaderboards, and purchases) and Google's ad servers (ad requests as described above). During online matches the app may also connect directly to other players' devices on your local network, via Apple's GameKit — that is what the Local Network permission is for.
All traffic uses standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS via system frameworks); the app is exempt from U.S. export-compliance restrictions.
Children's privacy
One vs Two is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children. Ads are non-personalized for every user regardless of age.
Erasing your data
Settings → Data → Reset Statistics clears your recorded rounds on the device. Deleting the app removes everything the app stored, including replays and your credit balance. Game Center leaderboard scores are managed by Apple and can be managed through your Apple ID settings.
